Want to totally change a room that has a drab, tiled fireplace surround and hearth?  How about decoupaging it!  I just finished this gorgeous fireplace surround and hearth in a lovely home in the Preston Meadow area of Plano, TX.  The bold color red is the color of the room's walls offset with crisp white wood work.  When coloring the paper, I incorporated metallic bronze and gold for an even richer, more dramatic look.  Hope you like it!
