Decoupage Flooring

Just finished training Jeff Fry, from Atlanta, Georgia, as our newest Career Trainee.  We had a great week beginning with the basics of my technique, necessary tools and supplies and then we jumped into our first installation - a counter top.  The laminate was about 30 years old and the kitchen was ready for an update.  The client chose a white base with blue veining to match the cobalt blue tile back splash along with her collection of Blue Willow plates.  It turned out great and the client was thrilled!  Next, we tackled a bedroom turned office.  Our rich, dark brown floor was so handsome - the client called it his "leather" floor and couldn't stop talking about how great it was going to look with his furniture.  We finished up the week making sample boards for Jeff to take back home along with extensive discussion about installations and marketing ideas.  Whew!  So much to cover in a week.  Now Jeff is back home and making plans for his first Home & Garden show.  I know he will have plenty of names to contact at the end of the show with such a unique and beautiful product backed up with the confidence and skills he received during training.
